Frequently Asked Questions
We do not work directly with major insurance companies. Why? Our goal is to deliver the highest quality, personalized care during each session, which we can't achieve at the rates that insurance companies offer. By opting out of direct contracts with insurers, we can focus solely on what's best for you without the constraints of insurance-defined "medical necessity."In traditional insurance-based physical therapy clinics, appointments typically last around 30 minutes, with only a fraction of that time spent one-on-one with a physical therapist. The rest of your session might involve aides or technicians guiding you through exercises. Over the past decade, insurance companies have continually reduced reimbursement rates for physical therapy. To counter this, these clinics often increase patient volume, which can compromise the quality of care. When healthcare providers are stretched thin, it negatively impacts patient outcomes. At Links Rehab, we take a different approach. Each of your one-hour appointments will be spent entirely with a physical therapist. This extended, focused time allows for more effective treatment, faster recovery, and fewer overall visits-saving you both time and money.Typically, physical therapy might be needed multiple times a week, and visits often involve copays or require patients to cover costs out-of-pocket until their deductible is met. Our model aims to reduce the number of visits required by achieving quicker results in each session. While we don't handle insurance claims directly, we provide you with the necessary information to seek reimbursement from your insurer.By bypassing insurance companies, we can offer a more patient-centered approach, empowering you to choose where and when to receive treatment based on your needs and progress.
